National Urban Extension Conference 2015: Honoring the Past, Living the Dream, Embracing the Future hosted by The University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences Cooperative Extension in Atlanta, Georgia May 4-7, 2015 at the Crowne Plaza Atlanta Perimeter hotel and conference center.
Extension professionals who work in urban/suburban communities are the target audience for this conference. We also welcome extension partners from collaborating agencies and organizations, extension volunteers, local advisory board members, and others with an interest in urban extension programs.
Join us for presentations and workshops as your colleagues share their knowledge and experience with you. There will be 60 minute workshops, 30 minute road runner sessions with similar goals being paired together for 60 minute session, and poster sessions.

Public transit is available for via subway train for $2.50 per trip. On Marta, TAKE RED LINE TO DUNWOODY STATION TO MEET THE HOTEL SHUTTTLE.

Continue on I-85 N. Take GA-400 N to Ashford Dunwoody Rd in Brookhaven. Head towards I-285 EAST. Proceed to exit 29 (Ashford-Dunwoody Road). Turn LEFT on Ashford-Dunwoody Road. Turn RIGHT at the second light. Hotel entrance is on the left. (Parking deck is underground on the left. Valet parking is available.)
The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle that will take you to any local business within a two-mile radius of the hotel, including transport from the Dunwoody MARTA Station to the conference Hotel.
Additionally, we will run conference shuttles between the Marta Station and Conference hotel on Monday between 10 am – 8 pm, and again on Thursday between 7 am and 12 pm.
